- I guess there’s some grain of positivity (may word naman na ganito ‘no? haha) to the saying/cliché, “out of sight, out of mind”. ’nuff said.
- Yes, everyone has the right to freedom of speech (tama ba?).. But please, don’t impose your sense of morality on others. Monitoring a concert to decide whether it’s still fit/allowed to hold one the next night is hypocritical. This blog entry says it all.
But He was also pointing out that sin is sin, no matter what sin it is. We must be careful what judgment you insist on others, because we bring the axe down on our own necks as well. None of us are sinless, so none of us can condemn each other. After he said this, he started writing on the dirt again, as each of the accusers dropped their case and walked away. He extended his hand to her, said He didn’t condemn her, and told her to sin no more. (You can’t miss that last part.)
There will come a day that I won’t be able to hold it in any longer. Hope that day will never come. hihi.
Anyway, some entries I’m looking forward to ‘immortalize’:
- My ‘alone’ birthday celebration.
- Weekend at La Union
Happiness is singing together when day is through
And happiness is those who sing with you
Happiness is morning and evening
Daytime and nighttime, too
For happiness is anyone and anything at all
That’s loved by you
It’s funny how we set qualifications for the right person to love while at the back of our minds we know that the person we truly love will always be an exception.

Got a busted lens.
It would need a lead time of 2-3 weeks to get the replacement parts and then 11 working days to actually, finally, repair my lens.
Gaah!
I’ve already shared too much information to some friends, which is now doing me more harm than good. A Jesuit friend said that I should not be trusting (or sharing whatever with my) friends too much. Not that it’s a bad thing but it’s my right anyway whether I share something about me or not.
I guess I had to learn this the hard way. O well…
Demmit!
I still can’t get over that voice. “I’m not really a singer… but, yeah, singing is a passion.”
Anyway…
I miss singing. I know I’m not cut out to be soloist. What I miss is singing in a group and hear our voices in harmony.
- I don’t agree with allowing a transgender woman (Ano nga ba ang tamang term?) to join the Miss Universe. Would they allow a ‘healthy’ transgender woman in joining the competition? I don’t think so. Ok, fine… Only those ‘truly’ eligible to join are those that fit the media definition of beautiful. A married, or once married, woman can’t join despite being ‘beautiful’ but a transgender can? O well, we live in a complicated world. I don’t even watch Miss Universe. Why am I even writing this?
- Just because you’re gay doesn’t give you the right to fool around. Hey, some of them try to make their relationship work and you make it harder for the public to accept the fact that there are decent gays out there. Equality does not mean getting to do what other asshole straight guys do. They shouldn’t be doing those ..uh.. wrong things in the first place.
- Will be seeing someone at the Ateneo on Monday. I miss him! Hehehe. I’ll be seeing my spiritual director AND friend on Monday. He’ll go back to Cebu next week for his second year in Regency. Kailangan ko na ulit ng batok sa ulo.
- Work’s picking up again. Demmit.
- Had dinner with my bestfriend a while ago. One of the few remaining nights where I can leave the office early and meet up with friends for dinner or whatever. Anyway, that was our first time this year to just sit down and catch up again. Told me something that didn’t happen that made me shout for joy… ‘Di rin. hahaha.
- Bought my friend’s/officemate’s/housemate’s second-hand camera. haha! Street Photography will be back!!! And, I’ll be submitting some of my photos for a contest. Nyahaha. I’m pretty sure it won’t get noticed but at least this is a start. I need to take pictures more and have them critiqued. (May word bang critiqued?)
- I was never, nor I think will I ever be, a fan of people changing for “someone”. You’d notice it right away. If you truly want to change, do it because you truly want to become better and not because of someone. Sheesh.
- Sooner or later you have to decide. But first, pray that you make the right decision.
When you have accepted something as a fact, everything suddenly becomes bearable. Everything becomes calm and clear. – From a friend
I guess I haven’t yet accepted some things.
- Played again with SAVC last Saturday. 5-6 hours of playing volleyball for only P70. hihi.
- Played with a group in Finman yesterday. Got hit in the face for the first time. hehehe.
- Bought boxing gloves and a new set of hand wraps last night. Got an SMS message from Vincent asking to give him copies of Game of Thrones S2 once it’s back. Also asked if I was doing anything and just told him I just bought Thai milk tea. He asked to wait for him since he was bored as hell. We had dinner at Sugi, which was suprisingly (really) expensive but the food was good. Nice “catching up” dinner with him.
- Will play volleyball again later. 3rd day in a row.
- Boxing tomorrow and will use my new hand wraps and boxing gloves.
